JD Sports and Uber Eats partner for rapid England kit deliveries

As England prepares to face Norway in the 2026 World Cup quarter-finals, JD Sports and Uber Eats have launched an on-demand delivery service for football shirts in London and Manchester, ensuring fans can secure their kits for the match without needing to leave their homes.

The partnership aims to streamline match-day preparations by bringing high-street merchandise directly to supporters. Nicola Burnett, Digital Director at JD Sports, noted that the collaboration provides fans with immediate access to products when they need them most. Katie Hunter, General Manager of Grocery & Retail at Uber Eats, added that the service is designed to help fans avoid the last-minute scramble for team gear ahead of the high-stakes Saturday evening fixture.

To accommodate the post-match festivities, several retail partners are extending their operational hours. Select Co-op locations will remain open until 1am, while major retailers including Asda, Iceland, and Morrisons have also adjusted their schedules. Additionally, rapid delivery services such as Zapp and Gopuff are maintaining 24/7 operations throughout the event.
