Skyline Construction Elevates Three Executives Amid Billion-Dollar Growth

San Francisco-based Skyline Construction has appointed a new slate of executive leadership as the firm nears $1 billion in annual revenue. The promotions of Rene Olivo, Adam Chelini, and Dustin Johnson mark a strategic pivot to sustain the company's expansion across its technology, healthcare, and hospitality project portfolios.

CEO David Hayes stated the leadership changes reflect a commitment to internal talent development, positioning the employee-owned contractor for continued national scale. Rene Olivo steps into the role of Chief Operating Officer, taking oversight of national construction operations alongside corporate functions including legal, IT, and construction technology. Olivo, who joined the firm in 2020, is tasked with maintaining operational consistency across the company's nine offices in California, Washington, and Illinois.

Adam Chelini, a veteran of more than two decades at the firm, assumes the role of President for California. He will oversee integrated operations across the northern and southern regions, focusing on regional expansion and mentorship. Simultaneously, Dustin Johnson moves to Director of Operations for Southern California, where he will lead regional teams and manage the delivery of complex tenant improvement projects. These appointments arrive as the firm maintains high-profile partnerships with organizations such as Snowflake, Stripe, and Figure AI, effectively transitioning from its origins as a small Bay Area contractor to a major national player in the commercial interiors sector.
