Military Order of the World Wars to Host 2026 Youth Civics Summit

The participants, hailing from states including Alabama, Texas, and New Jersey, were chosen through a rigorous application process following their involvement in local Youth Leadership Conferences. This week-long initiative serves as the third iteration of the Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW) outreach effort, designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and the actual operation of federal institutions.

Over the course of seven days, the cohort will engage in a packed itinerary that spans all three branches of government. The schedule includes a trip to Philadelphia for visits to the National Constitution Center and the Museum of the American Revolution, alongside briefings at the Pentagon and the U.S. Department of State. Students will also meet with Deputy Marshal Paul Golden at the Supreme Court and interact with congressional staff to dissect the legislative process. By removing the financial barrier to entry, MOWW donors ensure that these students can focus entirely on leadership development and service opportunities, such as the U.S. Service Academies and ROTC, without the burden of tuition or travel costs.
