The latter production, which secured eight total nominations, is spearheaded by the sisters' own production company, Lewellen Pictures, where both serve as executive producers.

To prepare for her portrayal of a young mother navigating the creator economy, Elle revealed she conducted research on OnlyFans, an experience she noted was necessary to authentically capture the environment her character inhabits. Beyond their current television successes, the sisters are preparing for their first joint feature film appearance in the upcoming TriStar drama The Nightingale. Set in Nazi-occupied France, the project follows the sisters as they portray siblings on opposing paths of survival, a collaboration Dakota described as feeling as natural as their childhood games.
