The latest additions to the platform include 31 new investment strategies and 19 specialized funds. The expansion covers a broad spectrum of asset classes, ranging from Bitwise Asset Management’s crypto portfolios to traditional equity offerings from firms like Calamos Advisors and Fred Alger. Fidelity Institutional Wealth Adviser and First Trust are also among the participants contributing new model SMAs and multi-discipline portfolios to the roster.
Beyond direct strategies, SMArtX has integrated new fund profiles for research, featuring products from Carlyle, Clough Capital, and Driehaus Capital Management. Hunter Hager, Head of Asset Manager Relations, noted that the influx of new providers aims to offer advisors greater flexibility in portfolio construction as they enter the third quarter. The platform, which utilizes a microservices architecture, continues to focus on automating trading and billing for RIAs and institutional clients looking to modernize their infrastructure.
