Registration for the summit opens July 14, inviting a coalition of service providers, government officials, and private sector leaders to Downtown Las Vegas. The gathering follows a 2025 statewide study revealing that while 3,000 unaccompanied youth accessed services last year, the actual population of young people experiencing homelessness could exceed 33,000 annually.
NPHY CEO Arash Ghafoori emphasized that the movement is transitioning from long-term advocacy to measurable, short-term implementation. The goal is to finalize a strategic action plan by the end of 2027, developed in collaboration with the newly formed Movement Youth Action Board—a body of advocates with lived experience. Ron Reese, senior vice president of global communications at Sands, urged broader community participation to ensure all available resources support this systemic shift.
Beyond policy discussions, the summit will feature a StorySLAM, where young leaders share their perspectives on overcoming housing instability. Attendees can secure early-bird registration for $100 through September 25 before the price increases to $175. Further details on the agenda and speakers will be released in September at nphy.org/summit26.
