BodyPark Launches AI Fitness Companion ATOM After Record Crowdfunding

After securing over USD 650,000 from 2,600 backers on Kickstarter, the BodyPark ATOM is finally hitting the market. This pocket-sized device leverages computer vision and AI to offer real-time form correction, moving beyond passive metrics like heart rate to provide active, hands-on coaching for independent gym-goers and home athletes.

The device, which recently earned a Red Dot Award for Product Design 2026, weighs 155g and features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display paired with a 160-degree wide-angle camera. It is designed to bridge the gap between simple fitness tracking and professional instruction by identifying exercises, counting repetitions, and offering immediate voice guidance during training sessions. Unlike traditional wearables, ATOM functions as an external observer that monitors the quality of movement rather than just physiological output.

Beyond strength training, the hardware includes a magnetic base and tripod compatibility, allowing it to transition from a workout monitor to a desk accessory that tracks posture or manages focus via a Pomodoro timer. BodyPark spokesperson Alex noted that the high demand during the crowdfunding phase signals a shift in consumer preference toward active, intelligent feedback loops.

BodyPark ATOM is now shipping to customers across the United States, the European Union, and the United Kingdom. The standalone unit carries a standard retail price of USD 249, though the company is currently offering introductory promotional pricing starting at USD 219 to mark the official retail release.
