Through the "Buy Bluebird, Save Bluebirds" initiative, the company will donate 1% of all product profits generated over the next three months to the organization. These funds are earmarked for Denver Audubon’s conservation programs, which include educational outreach and the Colorado Bluebird Project, a community science effort focused on nest box monitoring and habitat awareness.
Ronan Kennedy, CEO and CFO of cbdMD, stated that the partnership serves as a vehicle to preserve the brand’s history and core values following its acquisition by the parent firm. By aligning with a local conservation group, the company intends to demonstrate its commitment to environmental responsibility rather than repositioning the brand away from its initial Colorado identity.
