Foresee Pharmaceuticals Appoints Brian J. Groch as Commercial Chief

Groch, who assumed the role of Chief Commercial Officer on July 1, brings over three decades of pharmaceutical experience to the Taipei-based company. His background includes leadership positions at Horizon Therapeutics, Veru Inc., and Shield Therapeutics, alongside a 13-year tenure at Merck. At Foresee, he will oversee the construction of a dedicated commercial team tasked with bringing the leuprolide mesylate formulation to patients in the United States, Taiwan, and other strategic markets.

Foresee is currently preparing for a New Drug Application submission to the U.S. FDA, slated for the second half of 2026. Regulatory filings in Taiwan and additional territories are expected to follow, ranging from late 2026 through the first half of 2027. The drug, designed to provide continuous hormonal suppression for six months via a single subcutaneous injection, aims to address the psychosocial and physiological impacts of central precocious puberty, which if left unmanaged, can lead to accelerated bone maturation and compromised adult height.
