The IDC evaluation assessed vendors on both current capabilities and future-facing strategies for supporting hybrid and frontline work environments. TeamViewer’s flagship platform, TeamViewer ONE, serves as the core of this strategy, integrating remote connectivity, DEX, and Autonomous Endpoint Management. By pairing real-time telemetry with agentic AI, the system aims to bridge the gap between initial issue detection and final resolution, effectively moving IT teams away from manual firefighting.
This analyst recognition aligns with a surge in enterprise adoption. In recent months, TeamViewer has expanded contracts with major global entities, including a leading aviation technology firm, global financial groups, and a large U.S. hospital system. Additionally, the platform is currently moving through the FedRAMP authorization process, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, to meet strict federal security standards. Phil Hochmuth, Research Vice President at IDC, noted that the platform’s strength lies in its ability to connect endpoint intelligence directly to measurable business impact, such as reduced disruption hours and optimized ticket-to-automation ratios.
