Manna Air Delivery shifts focus to US with new Tulsa hub

After hitting regulatory roadblocks that forced a strategic pause in its Irish operations, Dublin-based Manna Air Delivery is planting its flag in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The company plans to transform the city into its primary American operational base, projecting the creation of 1,000 jobs over the next three years.

CEO Bobby Healy characterized the move as a major milestone for the startup, emphasizing that the Tulsa expansion leverages the city’s progressive approach to airspace management. Manna intends to deploy its autonomous drone delivery platform across the metropolitan area, covering roles ranging from flight operations and maintenance to customer support and manufacturing.

Despite grounding its Irish delivery hubs following pushback from local councils in Dublin, the company maintains that the Tulsa launch is a global scaling effort rather than a departure from its roots. Healy noted that Manna will continue to invest in its Irish headquarters and internal innovation pipeline, using the US market as a testing ground for the next phase of its growth strategy.
