Kellogg School Marks Two Decades of Executive Education in Miami

Two decades after establishing a foothold in Coral Gables, the Kellogg School of Management is commemorating twenty years of its Miami campus. The milestone marks a transition from a bold strategic experiment into a primary gateway for leadership development connecting the United States with the rapidly evolving markets of Latin America.

Since its 2006 opening, the campus has evolved into a central hub for the school’s Executive MBA program and a growing suite of executive education offerings. By positioning itself in a city serving as a crossroads for international capital and entrepreneurship, Kellogg has fostered a diverse alumni network spanning industries from fintech to healthcare. Jake Cohen, associate dean of global EMBA and executive education, describes the location as a critical bridge for the global economy, noting that the campus provides a platform where executives synthesize regional experience with rigorous academic standards.

The anniversary year will feature a series of events and community partnerships designed to highlight the impact of the school’s graduates on the regional economy. As Miami cements its status as a destination for international commerce, the school intends to leverage the campus to further its mission of training leaders capable of navigating global complexity. This celebration serves as a reflection on the school's early foresight regarding the city’s economic trajectory and a foundation for its future expansion within the Americas.
