Geographic Solutions Charts AI-Driven Future for Workforce Agencies

Racing legend Derek Daly took the stage in Monterey to challenge workforce leaders, arguing that marginal gains and artificial intelligence are the keys to transforming government services. His keynote anchored the 2026 Workforce Technology Conference, where officials from 37 states gathered to modernize how agencies support job seekers.

The three-day summit drew representatives from 105 distinct agencies, creating a hub for testing the latest iterations of VOS Sapphire and Virtual LMI. Beyond the keynote, the program featured 95 industry experts who led deep dives into unemployment insurance, reentry initiatives, and employer engagement strategies. Participants engaged in hands-on demonstrations and direct product-enhancement voting, ensuring that upcoming software updates reflect the immediate needs of front-line staff.

Collaboration remained a central theme, highlighted by the Partnership Row. Organizations including Amazon Web Services, Big Interview, and JobTarget showcased integrated tools designed to plug into the core Geographic Solutions suite. These sessions emphasized a shift toward modular, AI-driven efficiency for the more than 1,100 American Job Centers currently utilizing the company’s platforms. With the Monterey event concluded, the organization confirmed that the 2027 edition of the conference will shift to Clearwater Beach, Florida.
