Heali Medical Targets Menstrual Pain with New Wearable Patch System

More than 80% of women report dealing with menstrual pain, yet few options allow for movement without pharmaceutical intervention. Toronto-based Heali Medical is now addressing this gap, launching a line of drug-free, wearable patches designed to provide targeted, natural relief for cramps and pelvic discomfort throughout the day and night.

The new product lineup includes the Period Patch system and the Women’s Patch, both utilizing magnesium and botanical infusions. The AM Period Flex Patch offers cooling relief through a blend of menthol, magnesium, and raspberry leaf. For nighttime, the PM Period Pop Patch uses arnica, lavender, and iron powder, incorporating beadlet technology that releases a warming sensation when activated by the user. This dual approach aims to manage symptoms without forcing women to pause their daily routines.

Beyond cycle-specific care, the Women’s Patch is formulated to address pelvic and lower-back tension linked to hormonal fluctuations or conditions such as endometriosis and fibroids. Co-founder Heather Sloan, a chiropractor who launched the brand alongside Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner En Wei Li, noted that the goal is to provide simple, natural support that integrates into a busy lifestyle. The patches are hypoallergenic, latex-free, and intended for use by individuals aged 12 and older. Priced at $7.97 for a three-pack, the products are rolling out to major retailers including Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens.
