Andrew L. Boyd Named CEO of Federal Integrator Tyto Athene

Boyd joins the Reston, Virginia-based company with over twenty years of executive experience across the defense and intelligence sectors. His previous tenure includes serving as the Federal Defense and Intelligence Industry Lead at IBM and holding chief executive roles at S2 Analytical Solutions and IDEMIA’s National Security Solutions division. His background in scaling technology organizations aligns with Tyto’s current focus on secure cloud, cyber, and identity systems.

Michael Lustbader, a Managing Partner at Arlington Capital Partners, emphasized that Boyd’s technical depth is critical for the company’s next growth phase. Boyd will work alongside an established leadership team, including Chief Technology Officer Peter O'Donoghue and Chief Growth Officer Sean Thompson. The transition follows a period of expansion for Tyto, which provides specialized digital transformation services to defense and intelligence clients. Boyd, a former U.S. Air Force officer, holds degrees in aerospace engineering and IT management from the University of Virginia.
