James Hou Named Group President of Catalyst Acoustics Group

Hou transitions to Catalyst from Mirion Technologies, where he served as President of North America. His career includes senior leadership tenures at Regal Rexnord, Atkore, Owens Corning, and Danaher. He brings a background in product development, commercial management, and complex organizational transformation to his new role. At Catalyst, he will supervise brands including Fräsch, IAC Acoustics, Noise Barriers, Sound Seal, and Riverbank Acoustical Laboratories.

CEO C.M. Merrimon emphasized that Hou’s experience in driving performance and developing talent is critical for the company’s next phase of expansion. Hou holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and an undergraduate degree from National Cheng Kung University. His mandate focuses on both organic and inorganic growth opportunities for the collective.
