Harbin Transforms Ice-Snow World for 24th Annual Beer Festival

Deep in the heart of Northeast China, the Harbin Ice-Snow World has traded its signature winter frost for the 24th International Beer Festival. This annual cultural centerpiece, running through late August, anchors the city's summer tourism campaign by blending traditional festivities with expansive new entertainment zones.

The festival, a staple of the Heilongjiang provincial capital for over two decades, has grown significantly in scope this year. Organizers have expanded the venue to house eight distinct functional areas, ranging from dedicated beer gardens and culinary stands to dedicated zones for camping, sports, and pet-friendly amusements.

Visitors can explore 11 beer gardens and five primary stands alongside a variety of cultural attractions, including Chinese-style night tours and floral float parades. By integrating creative market fairs and interactive performance spaces, the city aims to boost local summer consumption while fostering international cultural exchange. This year's iteration emphasizes a broader, more diverse visitor experience compared to previous sessions, solidifying the event's role as a trendy hub for both local residents and tourists.
