Blue Moon Metals Launches Large-Scale Exploration at Springer Project

The exploration initiative, scheduled to begin in August, will employ six drill rigs to systematically evaluate near-surface mineralized zones and test deeper, high-grade scheelite beds. The initial phase focuses on the George Pit and Sutton Underground areas, with subsequent stages extending toward deeper targets below the water table. To support this, the company is re-logging 18,000 metres of historical core, which has already revealed potential for a Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold System (RIRGS) previously unrecognized in the Mill City district.

Beyond drilling, Blue Moon is deploying a suite of modern technologies to refine its geological model. This includes LiDAR scanning, drone-based underground mapping, and airborne geophysical surveys covering 159 square kilometres of the surrounding property. The company is also evaluating 16 historical stockpiles and reprocessing potential in existing tailings to determine their viability as mill feed. Preliminary metallurgical testing and ore sorting trials are underway at SGS Lakefield to optimize future processing efficiency at the Springer facility.
