The collaboration leverages the expertise of the Ortho Surgical Skills Centre, a division of OCG, to support the charity through targeted fundraising, employee engagement, and shared educational initiatives. Since its establishment in 1996, Life+Limb has trained nearly one million healthcare professionals in 92 countries, focusing on techniques that allow clinicians to save lives and limbs using minimal resources.
Fiona Higginbotham, Chief Executive at Life+Limb, noted that the partnership arrives as the organization marks its 30th anniversary. Matt Woods, founder of OCG, emphasized that the initiative aligns with the firm’s core values, building on a history of charitable giving that has seen the company raise more than £25,000 for healthcare causes over the last four years. By integrating OCG’s specialized orthopaedic knowledge with the charity’s scalable training model, the organizations intend to expand access to life-saving surgical skills in underserved healthcare systems worldwide.
