Quadient Expands Parcel Locker Rollout Across Morrisons Supermarkets

Shoppers at hundreds of Morrisons supermarkets across the UK will soon gain access to automated parcel collection and return services, as the retailer expands its partnership with Quadient. This rollout, building on a prior pilot in Morrisons Daily stores, aims to integrate logistics hubs directly into the grocery shopping journey.

Installations of the Parcel Pending by Quadient units began this June, targeting an initial 125 locations. The project is set to scale rapidly, covering the majority of the grocery chain’s roughly 500 supermarkets in the coming months. For Quadient, the move represents a strategic push to embed their open locker network into high-traffic retail environments, positioning parcel management as a routine errand for consumers.

Katia Bourgeais-Crémel, EVP of Parcel Locker Solutions Europe at Quadient, noted that the expansion supports a shared vision of making out-of-home delivery more accessible. John Parry, Head of Popular & Useful Services at Morrisons, described the initiative as a natural evolution of the company's commitment to community-focused utility, providing customers with greater flexibility when managing their deliveries.
