During a candid appearance on CNN Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen, Chappelle recounted his encounter with the NFL star. Kelce, accompanied by his brother Jason and several friends, spent the weekend hitting a NASCAR event and the Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles. Chappelle noted that the football player's choice of festivities was a far cry from traditional bachelor party expectations, leaving the comedian to remark on the lack of debauchery.
Beyond the comedy club, the conversation turned to the wedding itself, which took place at Madison Square Garden. The ceremony, officiated by Adam Sandler, hosted 1,000 guests, including a heavy rotation of NFL stars like Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady, alongside music icons such as Selena Gomez and Ed Sheeran. Despite the massive guest list, Chappelle confessed he was surprised to be left off the invite list. "I didn’t make the 15,000 closest friends," he joked to Cohen and Cooper. The couple has yet to announce honeymoon plans, with reports suggesting they will attend fellow NFL player JuJu Smith-Schuster’s upcoming wedding before taking any personal time off.
