The Tinton Falls-based company secured scores of 4.1 or higher across all six categories evaluated by Gartner. Beyond its lead in ransomware defense, Commvault performed strongly in Hybrid environments with a 4.47 rating, Disaster Recovery at 4.44, Multicloud at 4.38, Data Services at 4.34, and SaaS at 4.28.

Rajiv Kottomtharayil, Chief Product Officer at Commvault, stated that these rankings validate the company's strategy to address the complexities of modern hybrid infrastructures. This assessment follows the company’s 15th consecutive recognition as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Backup and Data Protection Platforms.
