Smilegate Brings MIRESI and Chaos Zero Nightmare to Anime Expo 2026

Under the bright lights of the Los Angeles Convention Center, Smilegate has transformed its presence at Anime Expo 2026 into a sprawling interactive experience. The publisher launched dedicated booths for its titles MIRESI: Invisible Future and Chaos Zero Nightmare, marking a significant push into the North American market.

The MIRESI exhibit, located in the West Hall, centers on an immersive demo zone featuring a four-sided LED display and a 360-degree photo station. Beyond the visuals, the booth serves as a hub for direct developer engagement. On Saturday, July 4, Control9 CEO Se-woong Kwon joins Production Director Sun-gu Cho and Art Director Hyung-sup Kim for a deep dive into the title's creative evolution. The booth also highlights live artistry, with illustrators REIQ, Karory, and Ruca crafting original works throughout the four-day convention.

Across the venue in the South Hall Lobby, the Chaos Zero Nightmare booth shifts focus toward fan immersion by replicating the SS Nightmare and the Chaos battlefield. This marks the first North American offline event for the project, drawing in the game's development leadership, including Co-Head and Game Director Hyung-suk Kim. Fans can participate in an on-site card collection challenge, with a 24K Gold Card serving as the grand prize for those who complete the set. The team will also host a panel on Friday, July 3, to discuss the trajectory of 2D animated gaming alongside behind-the-scenes production narratives.
