The acquisition positions the investors to capitalize on the property's scale, which includes over 30,000 square feet of meeting space and six pickleball courts. While the guestrooms were last updated in 2017, the new ownership plans to renovate the exterior façade, event spaces, and technology infrastructure to bolster the hotel's standing in the competitive Atlanta market. White Label Asset Management has been tapped to oversee the property operations.
Eric Rosenthal, co-founder of Machine Investment Group, characterized the purchase as an opportunistic entry into a high-traffic asset acquired at a reset basis. Jonathon Vopinek, co-founder of Lionshead Capital Partners and CEO of White Label Asset Management, noted that the facility’s large-scale meeting capacity is difficult to replicate in the current airport hospitality landscape. The transaction was facilitated by William Hodges and Michael Tormey of Hodges Ward Elliott as the sector continues to evolve alongside the $11.5 billion expansion program currently underway at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
