Full Swing Sports Updates KIT Monitor with Continuous Training Modes

Coaches and players can now toggle between tee work, front toss, and live batting practice without restarting their session, as Full Swing Sports rolls out a major software update for its KIT launch monitor. The move aims to streamline data capture across every stage of an athlete’s workout.

The July 1 update allows users to maintain a single, continuous practice flow while adjusting distances and training modes in real time. By consolidating metrics from warmups through to live bullpen sessions, the system provides a unified view of performance data that was previously fragmented across separate session logs. This functionality extends to the field, where the KIT hardware captures data from 0 to 60 feet across various hitting environments, including machine-pitched and live batting practice.

Beyond session flexibility, the update introduces non-contact bat speed measurements. Players can now track their swing velocity without needing to make contact with a ball, a feature designed to facilitate rapid benchmarking during drills. Jason Fierro, President of Full Swing Sports, stated that the development was driven by direct feedback from MLB athletes and coaches to ensure the technology remains applicable from elite professional stages to local training facilities. The software is available immediately to all existing KIT users.
