The new helmet is built upon Leatt’s MOTO 8.5 platform, a high-performance shell already recognized for its proprietary 360° Turbine Technology. By embedding Cardo’s DMC (Dynamic Mesh Communication) technology and audio hardware tuned by JBL directly into the helmet, the partnership seeks to eliminate the reliance on hand signals and shouting during high-speed maneuvers. According to Cardo Systems CEO Alon Lumbroso, the integration addresses a long-standing gap in off-road technology, allowing for seamless group connectivity in environments previously difficult to navigate.
Beyond its communication features, the helmet maintains a focus on rider safety and comfort. It includes a lightweight composite shell, 4-density impact foam, and an antimicrobial Ionic+ liner. The design also incorporates emergency cheek pad removal, neck brace compatibility, and a hydration port for long-distance sessions. Certified to ECE 22.06 and DOT standards, the Cardo Venture is scheduled for retail release later this summer with an MSRP of $799.
