Mikesell’s recognition follows a rapid ascent within the Livonia-based company. Promoted to chief commercial officer in mid-May after serving as CMO since 2024, she spearheaded a series of initiatives that helped the manufacturer outperform market revenue benchmarks by 300 basis points. Judges highlighted her efforts to modernize digital experiences and launch a record number of new products, underpinned by a strategic promotional approach that redirected $7 million back into customer-focused programs.
Beyond commercial performance, Mikesell has focused on cultural transformation. She serves as the executive sponsor of ELEVATE LeadHERship, an internal community that has mentored over 50 women, resulting in nine internal promotions within the last year. Jeff Jackson, CEO of Cabinetworks Group, credited Mikesell with bringing strategic clarity to the organization, noting that her leadership has energized teams while successfully transitioning the firm away from a traditional manufacturing-first mindset.
