The AMR4020VD leverages advanced Anisotropic Magnetoresistance (AMR) technology to deliver high measurement accuracy alongside robust resistance to external magnetic field interference, reaching up to 1500 Gauss. A significant departure from conventional sensors that mandate mounting along the board edge, this IC supports parallel PCB integration. This configuration optimizes board space, simplifies routing, and enables more precise air-gap control during the assembly process.
Engineered for 2mm pole-pitch magnetic scales and rings, the sensor operates within a voltage range of 5V to 9V and maintains performance across an industrial temperature spectrum of -40°C to +125°C. Housed in a compact 6×2×1.5mm DFN21L package, the unit supports air gaps up to approximately 1mm. The component is currently available through DigiKey and the manufacturer's direct sales channels, targeting applications where positioning precision and manufacturing yield are critical.
