Brand Engagement Network Acquires Cataneo to Scale Enterprise AI

Brand Engagement Network has finalized its acquisition of Munich-based software provider Cataneo, a strategic move designed to integrate proprietary artificial intelligence into established media workflows. The deal brings a profitable enterprise platform managing over €6 billion in annual advertising inventory into the company's expanding global infrastructure.

The acquisition, completed June 30, 2026, provides Brand Engagement Network (NASDAQ: BNAI) with direct access to more than 1,000 media brands and 200 broadcast channels. By folding Cataneo’s MYDAS platform into its operations, the company aims to embed its proprietary Engagement Language Model (ELM™) directly into the advertising sales, scheduling, and content management systems used by media organizations across four continents.

Beyond adding scale, the deal is intended to solve the integration hurdle often faced by AI firms: the need for a stable, real-world commercial environment. Cataneo, which reported over €8.6 million in revenue for 2025, offers a proven, recurring-revenue foundation that BEN intends to use as a launchpad for broader enterprise AI deployments. As part of the transition, Cataneo co-founder Christian Unterseer has been appointed to the BEN Board of Directors to oversee the alignment of the two organizations.
