Founded in 2007, YumEarth has carved out a niche in the competitive snack market by eliminating artificial dyes and high-fructose corn syrup from its gummy, lollipop, and fruit snack lines. Currently available in roughly 30,000 retail locations—including major chains like Target, Whole Foods, and Walmart—the company will now leverage the global distribution network of Fini to scale its operations.
Fini, headquartered in Molina de Segura, Spain, brings nearly five decades of confectionery experience to the partnership. Steve Van Tassel, CEO of YumEarth, noted that the collaboration provides the necessary resources to bolster the brand's innovation pipeline and expand its reach to a broader consumer base. Anjali Jolly, managing partner at ACON, cited the brand's loyal following and alignment with current clean-label food trends as primary drivers for the acquisition. While financial terms remain undisclosed, the transaction was supported by financing from Truist Bank, with Santander acting as the lead financial advisor to ACON.
