Kennametal Names Amanda Cole as New HR Chief

Cole brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise-wide transformation and talent strategy to the Pittsburgh-based manufacturer. In her previous role at Wesco International, she managed human resources for a multibillion-dollar global business unit supporting 6,500 employees. Her background spans industrial engineering and process improvement, including earlier roles as a manufacturing engineer.

CEO Sanjay Chowbey described the new hire as an accomplished leader whose technical perspective will prove vital to the company’s executive team. Beyond traditional human resources oversight, Cole will manage corporate communications and environmental, health, safety, and quality initiatives. The transition period between Cole and Bacchus is already underway to ensure continuity across the firm's global operations, which currently employ 8,100 people.
