East of England Co-op Adds Uber Eats to Delivery Network

The East of England Co-op has integrated its logistics with Uber Eats, launching rapid grocery delivery services across 33 locations in East Anglia. This expansion allows local shoppers to access household essentials and fresh food items directly through the delivery platform, augmenting the retailer's existing digital fulfillment options.

The partnership joins a growing e-commerce portfolio for the retailer, which already manages delivery operations via Just Eat and Snappy Shopper. To incentivize initial adoption of the new channel, the company is providing a 5-pound discount on all orders exceeding 25 pounds.

Simon Dryell, Chief Commercial Officer at East of England Co-op, noted that the move addresses evolving community requirements for speed and convenience. By leveraging the Uber Eats network, the retailer aims to provide more flexible shopping methods for its members while maintaining the accessibility of its physical store footprint.
